Chesapeake Bay Salt Marsh Tidal Creek Adventure Fishing

On this adventure we will meet in Dorchester County Maryland. This is a special opportunity to experience up close and see the beauty of the Salt Marsh and Tidal Creeks of the Lower Chesapeake Bay. The 16 foot Jon Boat with a 25 hp engine is the perfect platform for this type of fishing. We are constantly moving zig zagging our way through the Salt Marsh and Tidal Creeks. For 35 years, I fished these creeks and know where the deep holes are that hold the fish. After your day, you will understand why every guest that selected this adventure can’t wait to return to run and fish the Tidal Creeks. For your comfort and enjoyment, the Captain suggests that you bring your bug spray and sunscreen and wear light weight quick dry long sleeve shirt & pants. Don’t forget to bring a hat.

This is strictly a Light Tackle Fishing Trip. Our Guest are provided with “Top of the Line Equipment” to match where and what we are fishing for. We use St. Croix Rods paired with Shimano Spinning Reels spooled with 20lb test braided line using a fluorocarbon leader. Expect to use the techniques of jigging lures (artificial baits) or use cut bait with circle hooks. I want my Guest to feel the strike of the fish along with the head shakes and tug of war with the final reward of winning the battle to land the fish.
